5 Easy Tricks or Tips for Terrific Hair

We have all had those ‘bad hair days’ where nothing seems to go right. To stop you from

running off to your hair stylist is get your hair cut off, about you try one or two of these tricks and
or tips instead..

1~ Got a case of the split ends? A little olive oil will help seal those split ends. Apply lightly to dry
hair, then wrap your head in a hot, damp towel. Cover with a shower cap and leave it on for ten
to fifteen minutes or until the towel cools. Then wash with a gentle shampoo, rinse and style
like you usually would. Best way to get rid of seriously damaged hair is to get a haircut.

2~ Change your brand of shampoo. Look into trying a sulfate free shampoo. Not sure if the
shampoo is sulfate free? Look on the in the shampoo’s ingredient listed as sodium laureth
sulfate (SLES) and sodium lauryl sulfate (SLS) which are in fact really a harsh chemical
surfactants that are found in lots of other products including toothpaste. In turn that means they
are really tough on your hair.

3~ Use conditioners but seem to just have greasy hair? It could because of where you are
applying your conditioner. Do not apply your conditioner directly onto your scalp unless that is
what they specifically instruct you to do so. Depending on the length of your hair, work a small
amount into your hands and apply as where needed, mostly your ends or massage it all the
way throughout your hair. You can use a wide tooth comb to work it through. Let it stay on for
one to three minutes then rinse like normal. You find that your hair will feel less heavy,
especially for lighter color hair.

4~ Dress up your hair! Got short hair? Why not dress your hair up with hair extensions? Now
you can go have them done for you and spend 100’s once, or you can buy your own hair
extensions and do them as often as you like. Check out Blending Strips to read more
information about extensions. If nothing else own a couple of really cute hats or wigs to really fix
your bad hair day for good!

5~If you use a lot of different styling products, gels, mousse, hair spray. This can build up on
your hair weighing it down and leave your hair looking tired and you can’t do anything with it. Try
these:

To remove hair spray and other styling products from blond and light colored hair, mix ½ cup
lemon juice concentrate with 2 to 3 cups luck warm water. If your hair is dark, mix ¼ cup apple
vinegar in 2 to 3 cups water. Add 1 teaspoon oil of cloves. Pour through your hair and leave on
for ten minutes or longer. Rinse with warm water for at least two minutes. You will be surprised
just how lighter and healthier your hair will feel!
