How-To & Style: Summer Office Wear

With every summer fashion that goes and comes it seems that the weather outside is getting hotter every day, but what should we do about our work clothes? Should we wear flip-flops, t-shirts and shorts just because it's too hot? Definitely not! Loose your beachwear and start making your wardrobe for this summer in office wear. Keep it comfortable and chic in the same time without having to worry about looking unprofessional or by dying slowly because of what's outside.

1. Shoes

It's all about comfort in your shoes for the summer, because nothing will make you feel more tired than a pair of killer heels after a busy day at work and the crazy weather outside. If you don't want to wear heels this summer don't worry because you can still look professional with a pair of flats or some Oxford shoes as long as you know how to style them up. Wear them with floral printed dresses or skirts to emphasize you femininity through these masculine shoes.

If you do want to wear some heels in order to look more classy and taller or if that's required at your work than be carefree because wedges will make you feel shoeless yet fabulous in comfortable heels. Mix them with harem pants or carrot ones, with dresses and skirts, rompers, with anything you want.

2. Dresses

Yes, dresses are good for work, but of course we're not talking about nightwear or elegant classy ones, choose to be casual and very fashionable through dresses that come more loosen up in order to keep you away from the heat. Remember not to take yourself a baggy dress that will hide your body, go for belts to accentuate your waist or dresses that have a beautiful shape and puts yourself in value.

In summer season, always buy dresses that leave you room to breathe, choose soft textile materials, maybe silk to give a sense of elegance to your professional appearance, different prints from graphic to abstract or floral and light colors from cream to white or grey, soft pink, blue, yellow or orange, anything is acceptable
