First of all, if you have unruly eyebrows (like me), then go to a professional once in a season, and maintenance from then.
Here is how to do it your self;
Look at your face. Brush your eyebrows up and over. What kind of hair do you have, and how much time do you want to spend on your eyebrows. Do you want to clean them up or do you want to shape them? Although the hair grows back, eyebrow grooming does require some commitment.
Find your natural shape. Look for the angle, fullness, or narrow lines. I have said this before, learn to live with what you have. Make it work for you!
Watch this video to explain visually the proper spacing of the eyebrows relative to your nose.

You’ll want to invest in a good pair of tweezers with a slanted edge. They are easier to work with. Revlon is good for “tools” for your face.
Make sure to pluck hairs in the direction they grow. Don’t grab too many hairs at a time. You can hold skin taut as you pluck. I never do one eyebrow at a time. I go back and forth to maintain a balance. Stop every few hairs to step back and look at the job you’re doing.
